Chicken Lettuce Wraps
What you’ll need:
1 lb ground chicken
Olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 yellow onion, diced
Optional: shredded carrots or cabbage
1/4 c Hoisin sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp sriracha
2 green onions
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
1 head butter lettuce
Optional: steamed jasmine rice
How to make it:
Brown your chicken in about a tablespoon of oil
Once chicken is cooked, add the garlic
Add onion and the whites from the green onions and cook for a couple minutes (Also add in additional veggies at this step, like shredded carrots, cabbage, or broccoli)
Add in hoisin, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, and sriracha. Simmer for a few minutes to let flavors cook together.
Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve into lettuce cups or over jasmine rice
